Design and research for Transportation and Industrial Architecture
MTP-Paris is a young team of engineers and architects created to assist the operators of public transport in the design and the realization of new travel spaces, and to provide studies for the refitting of existing stations, other various poles of exchange and railway stations. The technical skills useful for the development of architectural projects for productive sites and the recovery and transformation of abandoned industrial buildings supplement this initial vocation. MTP-Paris is active in the building industry and civil architecture as a technical partner for the agency MPA of Modena, for whom it is the representative in France (MPA-Paris). MTP-Paris adopts a unit methodology with regard to various disciplinary fields, and integrates, in particular, a team specialized in steel constructions and a team specialized in the restoration of modern architecture. Competencies and services: - New architectural solutions for spaces and the infrastructures of mobility and public transport. - Studies of flows of passengers, interior architecture and design of furniture for spaces of waiting and connection, design and graphics of descriptive signage and its production. - Architecture and services of engineering for the tertiary sector and industrial sites. - Rehabilitation and refurbishment of industrial buildings of the 19th and 20th centuries. - Reorganization of various architectural typologies according to the criteria of minimal environmental impact and high environmental quality. MTP-Paris profits from exchanges and collaborations with university departments, centers and research laboratories (Université Paris-Est), and is present in Paris and Bologna. The company recently extended its capacities of intervention in historical urban contexts as well as those of the landscape and on a large territorial scale. - Projects for the recovery of industrial parks and urban transformations; development of public spaces and design of urban furniture. - Interventions on the elements of the infrastructure system in urban areas, historical locations, and landscapes.
